Wished we could have stayed the week. Everything was absolutely perfect! Our room was upgraded to the Kensington Suite 306 with two balconies and fantastic views of the ocean and pool. Staff went out of their way to make our night very special and they were quite successful. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel. Perfect location, beautiful grounds and rooms and wonderful staff. You can walk the boardwalk all the way down to Mission Beach amusement park and just a short drive to La Jolla to the north. And, of course, the fantastic Pacific Ocean is just steps away!! Love, love, love this hotel!! My wife and I moved to Colorado from Manhattan Beach 25 years ago. We love CO but miss the ocean. So the last 12 years for our wedding anniversary, we stay at the Pacific Terrace Hotel the first week in February to get our beach fix. The hotel is in a great location and the facilities are well kept. Staff, for the most part, is very helpful and friendly we've experienced an isolated employee or two in the past that were a little persnickety. I do feel the their prices are high, especially for February. We really enjoyed our stay here with our family. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the rooms are well appointed and the location can't be beat. You can run down to the ocean and then back up for a swim easy peasy. They have chairs, sand toys and bikes to use during your stay. The beds are very comfortable too. We will be back!! What in-room amenities are provided?
